Commercial discounts

Commercial discounts display strike-through pricing during the reservation process.


Create a commercial discount by selecting:


The following screen will return:


Name: The name of the discount.

Show explanation in the reservation page: Yes/No drop-down. Yes allows a small caption with the name of the discount and the periods of validity during the booking process.

Discount: There are 3 options available to apply the "fictitious" discount (the percentage or absolute values set below will be increased in order to be crossed out).
  • Percentage - Set a fictitious percentage-based discount
  • Amount - Define an absolute value discount amount by night or to the total cost of the reservation. 
  • Discount against another rate - Show the difference between one rate and another as a discount. The starting product must have a higher price than the rate the discount should be shown for. 

Validity: Define the period of validity for the discount: 
  • For bookings made - Define the booking period of the discount.
  • For stays between - Define the period of stay of the discount.

Once all the fields have been completed, click on the Save

The following section will become available after saving:



Products: Select the products to which the discount will be linked from the drop-down menu and click Add.

Rooms: Select the rooms to which the discount will be linked from the drop-down menu and click Add.

Attention! If no options (individual rates/rooms or all rooms/rates)from the drop-down are selected, the discount will not work.

Once the room and rate options have been added, click on Save.
