Early booking

Create one or more discounts visible on the booking engine without a code. The discount appears with the full price crossed out and the discounted price in red. 

Start by clicking on

this screen opens:

Name: Name of the discount.

Show explanation in the reservation page: Yes/No drop-down. Yes allows a small caption with the name of the discount and the periods of validity during the booking process.

Validity: Limit the discount to be displayed only if the dates of stay are included in the date range set below. Leaving this not selected will indicate that the discount will not be shown if the stay includes days in which the discount is not active.

Perc.: the percentage value of the discount to be applied

Amount: the absolute value of the discount to be applied

Attention! The use of the percentage excludes the use of the discount amount in absolute value and vice versa. It is not possible to fill in both fields.

For reservations made: Define the reservation period within which the discount is active.

Min. Length Of Stay: Set a minimum number of days of stay in order for the discount to be visible.

Type: Choose the methods of applying the discount, there are two possible choices: 

• With days in advance: Enter the number of days required before reservation arrival are required for this discount to display (ex. At least 2 days prior to arrival)
• For stays between: Define the period of stay within which the discount is valid.

Children free: Select from Yes/No to determine if children should be charged or free

Once all the fields are complete, select Save. 

The system will insert additional sections to be completed after Save is selected:

Products: Select rate types by clicking a checkbox to apply the discount and click Save.

Rooms: Select the rooms to link to the discount and click Save.

Attention! If the discount is to be associated with all products and/or all rooms, choose the “select all” checkbox in each section, otherwise, the discount won’t work.

Corporate customer: Remove the public discount from corporate customers by selecting then to deny access, or leave unchecked to allow the discount for the corporate client

Once the form has been completed, select Save.
