Length of Stay discounts

Create differentiated discounts based on each of the nights of the stay.

Begin to create by clicking here:

this screen opens:

Name: Name of the discount.

Active: Drop-down Yes/No menu to the status as active or not active

Maximum number of days: from the drop-down menu, enter a maximum number of discountable days from 1 to 40. This is the number of nights to which individual discounts can be applied and not the number of nights a guest can book.

Once all the fields here have been completed, click Save

The system will insert additional sections to be completed after Save is selected:

For reservations made: Define the booking period for which the discount is valid.

For stays between: Define the period of stay for which the discount is valid.

Non-discountable dates: Set the dates on which the discount should not be applied.

Min. Length of stay: Set a minimum number of days of stay for the discount to be applied.

Max. Length of stay: Set a maximum number of days of stay for the discount to be applied.

Start of stay: Allow the stay to begin on some or all days of the week by selecting them

Show explanation in reservation page: Yes/No drop down to show/hide text box (below) during the booking process

Text: Insert custom text to describe the discount applied.

Discount: A sequence of days is shown, corresponding to the “Max number of days” selection, which allows a different discount choice to be applied for each individual day

Options include

• None - no discount is applied on days with this selection
• Free of charge - days with this selection will be free of charge
• Discount % - days with this selection will receive the discount percentage applied
• Discount (absolute value) - days with this selection will receive a discount of the set value
• Discount - a discount can be set to be the same as the first day in the series or the same as the day before the day it is applied for

Products: Select rate types by clicking a checkbox to apply the discount and click Save.

Rooms: Select the rooms to link to the discount and click Save.

Attention! If the discount is to be associated with all products and/or all rooms, choose the “select all” checkbox in each section, otherwise, the discount won’t work.

Corporate customer: Remove the public discount from corporate customers by selecting then to deny access, or leave unchecked to allow the discount for the corporate client

Once the form has been completed, select Save.

The discount will be added to the list after it has been saved:
